Our Story
When a friend asked Dale and me about our “Engagement Pictures”, we both looked at each other as if she was speaking another language. The thought of us getting dolled-up to pose against a hip brick wall in an urban setting, or staring into each other’s eyes on the beach, was more than my brain could take. Dale agreed. However, our friend insisted we HAD to have a photo, at least for the wedding website, which we had already acquiesced was actually a resource we needed to keep everyone looped in and make our wedding hassle-free. So then began the conversation of a picture that would be true to how we live and who we are. No small task as it turns out. We have plenty of pictures of adventures- snow skiing, snorkeling, mountain hiking, family outings, and a ridiculous amount of beach and dog pictures- but none of these seemed to illustrate what we really loved about our relationship.
But sitting in our living room one Sunday morning, as we almost always do, it became obvious what our picture would be. This time, this space, these smells, and this feeling- this is when we are filled with love and appreciation. Sunday mornings, after Dale has gone to get the paper for his daily crossword fix, and I have found the real estate or arts section, we cram into one section of our couch, never using all the space it has to offer. He is on to his second cup of coffee, and I have just woken up. The dogs and cat pile around us wherever they can fit in. The pack becomes content. There are no phones, no iPads, and no tv during this time. There is always music playing in the background, usually 70s inspired when Dale gets to pick. There is no talk of work or chores. It is the time when quiet and peace can be felt. It is the time when we are present. It is the time, although so very simple in its ingredients, I feel as if the entire room is full of hope, energy, and genuine love. This is our picture we wanted to share — the moment that summarizes all that we are grateful for. Life is good, and the Sundays are beautiful.
Wedding Day
The Ceremony and Reception venues are in Delray Beach and within close proximity of each other, but parking is extremely limited or not available at all in some cases— so we have arranged for transportation to everything. Don’t worry — you can easily leave when you want or have as many drinks as you’d like. The hassle of driving and parking is off the table.
Out of Town Guests
Guests staying at either the Seagate or Marriott Beach Hotels will be picked up at their hotel in the Valet area. When you are ready to head back to your hotel, transportation will get you there.
Local Guests
Local guests driving to the event, or guests choosing to not stay at either the Marriott or Seagate, will need to valet park at the Seagate Hotel and will be returned to the Seagate after the reception. Again, if you feel the urge to leave our amazing party early, we have transportation available to take you back to your car.

Travel & Accommodations
Flying
Delray is approximately 45 minutes from both Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL) and West Palm Beach Airport (PBI). Typically, there are more flight options out of FLL, but feel free to check both for what works best for you. You can also fly into Miami International (MIA), but be warned everything in Miami can be a hassle. Your call.
Driving
Well- depends on where you are coming from. Plug it in your navigation system, find a good radio station, and enjoy the scenery of Florida. From Mississippi, per John Webb, it is a 13-15 hour trip. I’m not saying he drives slow, but he goes approximately 2 miles over the speed limit — maximum. And what trip has a two hour time gap?! Mapquest says 11 hours and 9 minutes. Again, your call.
Lodging
Delray is popular. Any place in the world that gets cold weather — real cold weather — brings people to South Florida. Delray is top of the list for destinations. For this reason we have reserved a small number of rooms for this weekend to try to ensure everyone has a place to stay. That being said, DO NOT WAIT TO BOOK YOUR ROOMS. We have rooms blocked for Friday, the 4th, and Saturday, the 5th, for those of you making a weekend of it, or even just a romantic Saturday night out of your own house. You DO NOT have to book both nights, but we reserved both nights to anticipate your needs.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Delray Beach and the Seagate Resort and Spa. Both have their advantages. When making a reservation at either, you must CALL and notify them this is for the MCNEILL/WEBB WEDDING. You will receive a discounted rate at both hotels for our wedding group.
Again, transportation will PICK YOU UP AND DROP YOU OFF AT EITHER OF THESE HOTELS FOR THE WEDDING AND RECEPTION. If you elect to stay at another area hotel or venue, you will still need to go to either the Marriott or Seagate and park with the valet.
Marriott Delray Beach
Marriott is located directly on A1A across from the beach and is everything you expect from a Marriott. Very nice, good service, and family friendly — with a bar.
It is the only hotel located directly on the beach.
Seagate Hotel & Spa
The Seagate is more of a boutique hotel on Atlantic Avenue, the main drag through Delray. The Seagate also has a Beach Club on the beach that allows guests to use their private beach, as well as a golf course, which I hear is nice, but cannot confirm personally. The Seagate is obviously pricier, but our blocked rooms provides a discount. You may use the link below to make reservations online as it includes our promo code WMWED.

After several inquiries into what type of china we would like, we have put together an option for those who feel the need to get us a wedding gift. But please let us be clear — WE DO NOT NEED OR EXPECT ANYTHING! We have a comfortable life with amazing family and friends. We do not need or want for anything except for you to be a part of our day.
The above being noted, we have registered with a company called Wanderable. Wanderable is helping arrange our Honeymoon trip, from airfare to bike rides. The Wanderable logo below will take you to a personalized page where, as your gift to us, you can pay for part of our Honeymoon. You can buy whatever and for any amount you wish. It allows you to give $5.00 or $500.00. For example, my friend Vaughn, has given us a gift of $50.00, which he applied to our airfare and paid for with Paypal. He made two clicks and was done.
We have decided to go to Madagascar for our Honeymoon and could not be more excited. Again, to clarify, YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET US A GIFT. But if you want to, this is our dream adventure, and we appreciate you helping us make it come true.

RSVP
Please confirm your attendance to the wedding and provide the name of your guest in the response. Example: “Roy Klein plus woman I met on Tinder”.
Children: Some of you have asked about bringing your children. Please be assured we love your children also—However, this is an intimate affair and we have not planned a kid friendly day and evening. If you feel it is paramount to bring your child, please include this in the response so we can inform Dale’s Aunt Carol she didn’t make the invite cutoff.
